Happy April (and I’m deliberately ignoring that holiday where everyone goes around making jokes and pranks). I enjoy this month for a variety of reasons- we have many birthdays this month in my family and one of them is mine. Believe it or not, I’m a bit excited about it…even if it does mean I’m even closer to the big 4-0.
In all seriousness, I’m looking forward to a lot this month. My spring break happens in less than two weeks, and Easter Sunday is happening soon.
We are adding to our chicken family and the girls will attend their third competition of this dance season. Last month, they did so well. Little Lumber won a scholarship and a first place and judges award for her group dance , and older lumber won a first place for her trio and a supernova award for her duet.
I really can’t wait to see how they do this month.
Also, I’ve been in a bit of a blog post rut and I felt like I did a lot of web round ups and not enough original content. This month, I really challenged myself to create more original content and feature more of my own ideas. I’ve been making some really great things that I look forward to sharing with you.
If you follow me on Instagram, you already know we have a new family member. Stella is our German shepherd puppy and we have now had her a month. Isn’t she beautiful?
She’s begun to attract her own online fan base, as well she should. Look at that face!
I am also working toward a healthier me and trying to improve the health and mindset of our whole family. I’m excited to share that journey as well.
