I have really been crushing on these farmhouse kitchens lately. There is so much simple beauty in a farmhouse, and the kitchen is certainly no exception. I love the muted colors, the timeless details and the warm tones of the wood. Today, I’d like to share these lovely farmhouse kitchens with you all.
The photo above is from DIY and Crafts Magazine. It has so many details I’d love to see in my next kitchen. The classic white cabinets, beadboard ceiling, subway tile and wood countertop speak to me. And how pretty is that apron sink?
Maybe white cabinets and wood floors in a kitchen aren’t your thing. These tile floors and gray cabinets are simply beautiful as well. I also just love that chippy, distressed table. While I don’t really want open shelves in my kitchen because my house tends to get really dusty fast, I do love the look of these.
Butcher block counters? Check. Beadboard? check! Distressed shutters? check!!! If that’s an apron sink, I’m in.
I love the muted pop of color on the cabinets. That subtle mint color adds a little warmth to the white subway tile and light colored counter tops. That apron sink really pops against the color, too.
