Easy Taco Soup: Make it in Less than 30 Minutes

Your family may be like mine- we are always busy and always in a hurry, but we make it work. We love to find cheap and easy recipes that we can prepare quickly. Our taco soup is cheap and crazy easy to make.

First, brown your ground chuck and then drain the grease. We like to use 93% lean, but that part is up to you.

Then, get a large stock pot and pour in corn, after you’ve drained the water off.

Next, add your pinto beans, rotel tomatoes and peppers, black beans, beef broth and taco seasoning. Add your meat and bring to a boil.

Our family likes to serve it topped with Mexican cheese, crushed tortilla chips and sour cream.

Here is the recipe if you’d like to make it yourself. The ranch and kidney beans are optional and the soup will taste just as good without them.

If you make the soup, let me know if you liked it 🙂

I’m Angi. Let’s be friends!

Welcome to Lumber in my Minivan, a blog about adventures, (and sometimes MISadventures), in parenting, DIY, and home life. I’m a Christian, a wife, a mother of two daughters, a teacher, a southerner, an amateur farmer and woodworker, a coffee lover, and an animal lover. Life without music is pointless and outside is my favorite place to be. I’m so glad you stopped by- pour yourself a large cup of coffee, put your feet up, and stay awhile!

I’d love to connect with you!
