Life as a Lumber: What we’ve been up to

The girls performed with their dance studio for Christmas and both did wonderfully. They also got a Santa photo! We usually visit Santa and get a picture each year and due to covid, I wasn’t sure we would get to this year.

We attempted to “tie dye” some government issue masks our schools gave us using sharpies and rubbing alcohol. They didn’t turn out too bad.

Our kitchen is finally finished…completely. It is exactly what we wanted and we could not be happier.

I went back to work. My students came back this week. Pray for all of us, as we are a bit scared of getting sick.
I finally hit the 25 pound mark! I’ve lost 25 pounds altogether since last year.
And we made this delicious breakfast pizza with crescent rolls, mozzarella cheese and sausage. Yum!

We hope you had a wonderful week! Join us tomorrow for the second Sunday of advent.

I’m Angi. Let’s be friends!

Welcome to Lumber in my Minivan, a blog about adventures, (and sometimes MISadventures), in parenting, DIY, and home life. I’m a Christian, a wife, a mother of two daughters, a teacher, a southerner, an amateur farmer and woodworker, a coffee lover, and an animal lover. Life without music is pointless and outside is my favorite place to be. I’m so glad you stopped by- pour yourself a large cup of coffee, put your feet up, and stay awhile!

I’d love to connect with you!
