DIY Bulletin Board and Chalkboard

We had this white frame lying around and nothing to do with it.

$100 at Target

It was costly and in good shape, so I didn’t really want to get rid of it. My oldest needed a bulletin board so I figured, why not?

I bought a piece of foam board out of the poster section at our local big box store. I cut it down with scissors to make it fit into the frame.

Then, I bought some fabric and Mod Podge.

I made a thick layer of Mod Podge on the foam board and then I lad the fabric on top.

Then, I hot glued some ribbon in a criss-cross pattern and glued some buttons to areas where the ribbons intersected.

And then I popped it into the frame.

I made a cute and affordable bulletin board for almost nothing.
