Easter Family Pictures: A Photographic History

Yesterday, I shared some of my favorite Easter traditions, and I talked about how one of them is taking a yearly picture with my family. Today, I thought it would be fun to take a look back over the years at some of my favorite Easter family pictures. The picture above is special because it was taken the first Sunday we attended our new church. We love our church family and I’m grateful everyday for them.

Last year

Last year’s picture is special for a few reasons- the first is because I love it,and the second is because I rarely get a good picture of my little girls these days…something about not wanting to be photographed. This is one of my favorite pictures of the two of them.

First Easter as a married couple

The sun was in our eyes and I looked like I had a mullet, but I love this picture. Such a sweet time in our lives.

Oldest daughter’s first Easter

She’s almost twelve now, but look at that sweet little baby. Also pictured here: my grandmother, my dad and my cousin.

Youngest daughter’s first Easter

Those matching monogrammed dresses were adorable. I love how my tiny little baby is totally unfazed by the picture taking and is watching something totally different.

Pictures with a toddler

Taking pictures with a toddler is never easy. A then two year old youngest daughter did not have time to stand still for this picture with her sister, parents and great grandma. It was all I could do to hold on to her and keep her from running away.

I hope you enjoyed this blast from the past: Easter edition. Have a wonderful Easter weekend. May the Lord bless you.
