Happy birthday, Aubrey!

A certain little lady is turning seven today! And if you see her today, she is sure to tell you.

Of course, we can’t celebrate Aubrey’s birthday without sharing her story. This little child was our rainbow baby- born after our second miscarriage and shortly after we learned my dad was terminal.

She was born 4 weeks early and ended up staying in the hospital an extra week.

Then, at a year old, she contracted RSV and was hospitalized a week.

Since then, she’s been our snuggled, our entertainer, our comic relief and our “keep you on your toes” kid. She’s got a big heart and she loves hard.

We are so glad sweet Aubrey is ours.

I cannot wait to see how God uses her.

Happy birthday, sweet girl!

I’m Angi. Let’s be friends!

Welcome to Lumber in my Minivan, a blog about adventures, (and sometimes MISadventures), in parenting, DIY, and home life. I’m a Christian, a wife, a mother of two daughters, a teacher, a southerner, an amateur farmer and woodworker, a coffee lover, and an animal lover. Life without music is pointless and outside is my favorite place to be. I’m so glad you stopped by- pour yourself a large cup of coffee, put your feet up, and stay awhile!

I’d love to connect with you!
