Christmas in July: The Inn at Christmas Place Pigeon Forge, TN
The Inn at Christmas Place, Pigeon Forge, TN
Recently, my family and I went to Sevierville and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for my daughters’ dance competition. While the rest of the team stayed at a different hotel, we have always wanted to stay at Inn at Christmas Place.
I’m really glad we did- not only was it absolutely beautiful, it was a really neat experience. I thought I’d share our experience and all the reasons why we recommend staying at the Inn at Christmas Place.
1. The hotel and its grounds are beautiful
The exterior of the hotel and its courtyard are postcard pretty. Even though you’re right in the middle of a large city, it doesn’t feel like it. We loved eating breakfast in this courtyard each morning.
2. The beautiful decor
Each floor has its own decor and its own theme. The trees are absolutely beautiful. At one point, we walked around touring each floor and just looking at all the pretty decor.
3. Hot breakfast every morning AND it’s included with the room
The breakfast is delicious, with lots of options. It’s also popular, so I’d only recommend going earlier vs. late. The lines are longer the later you go to the dining room.
4. Great amenities!
When we choose a hotel, we look for several things: is there a pool for the kids? Is there a fitness center for us? At Inn at Christmas Place, there is a hot tub, a fitness center, an indoor pool, and an outdoor pool with a slide. There are also several board rooms, a laundry room and a vending area on each floor.
5. Fun features
There are lots of activities in which you can participate: we took a gingerbread house decorating class, and the Singing Santa is there each day to talk to your kids. He also does concerts each week. You also get free cookies every night.
6. Location
The Inn at Christmas Place is located in Pigeon Forge and there are a number of restaurants and attractions within walking distance of the hotel.
7. Overall experience
The rooms and the public areas of the hotel are clean and very well maintained. The housekeeping staff even tucked in Aubrey’s stuffed animal, which she loved. Our room even had a small kitchen. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
Our stay at the Inn at Christmas Place was wonderful and we definitely plan to stay there again. You should check it out! The website can be found here.
