Entry- way rehab!

Our entry way is not so bad. In fact, it’s way better than it used to be. And there are a lot of things I actually like about it.

I love that really cute built in coat tree that my dad built, I love the little shelf above it, and y’all know I love some wooden signs with quotes on them.

So let’s talk about what I don’t love.

I don’t love that builder grade front door. I want one that looks like this:

I also don’t love that builder grade light fixture. It’s not in the picture, but it’s one of those “boob lights.” Very ordinary and no character. I’m digging this schoolhouse flushmount instead.

That LL Bean water hog mat can stay right where it is, but an umbrella stand would sure be nice. I like this one from Magnolia Home.

I also love this console table and how well it fits in the space, but I also get annoyed sometimes that the table catches everything and becomes a drop zone.

Maybe a bench would change that. It’d also be nice to have someplace to sit down and take my shoes off. I like this one at Kirklands.

I’m not entirely sure yet how I’ll change up our little entry but I know I’ll be making most of these changes gradually. Stay tuned!!

And come back this week for a bathroom reveal and a unique and rustic jewelry holder made from something repurposed. Have a wonderful day!
