This year, I opted to do a shortened and simplified fall home tour. We’ve had so many things to do lately, that I haven’t been able to give the blog its needed attention. This year, we opted to do a more simple fall decorating scheme, and I’m happy with how it turned out. We went with lots of candles and simple, natural decor.

Our fake mantel has a red berry wreath, a white pumpkin, bittersweet and plenty of candlelight. Simple, yet pretty.

Our dining room hutch also got a little fall as well. Notice the typo art and the antique scale from my grandmother.

And also the vintage milk glass and burlap sunflowers.

Our dining room table features a burlap runner (to match the sunflowers) and a wooden box with candles and pumpkins.

I’m planning to add some grapevine balls and greenery to this later on.
We also included a little fall display in our front entry.

Fall pillows on the couch and a tray full of fall goodness on the coffee table in the living room.

And finally, in our office, yet another tray, this one with sunflowers and a field guide that once belonged to my dad.

Our seasonal tour this fall included lots of natural elements and lots of simple goodness. I also incorporated things that belonged to our family members, such as the field guide, antique scale, and milk glass. And lastly, I included a little typo art as well.
How have you decorated for fall this year?
