Have you been to Dollar General lately? If you haven’t, you need to. I live in a small town in the south and while we do have some very nice independently owned boutiques, we don’t have a shopping center or mall.

The nearest ones are thirty or more minutes away. We do have a Walmart, and a Dollar General. Dollar General stores are often found in small towns and in the middle of nowhere. If you’re willing to look, you can find some pretty cute things at the Dollar General. Here is what I found this week.

Drink tumblers by Draper James and Simply Southern

If you’re unfamiliar with Draper James, it’s a fashion brand by Reese Witherspoon. It’s sold at Belk and Kohls and I love their clothes. Imagine my surprise when I found this pretty tumbler at DG this week. I also found these Simply Belle tumblers in several patterns. They’re made by Simply Southern. I am about to buy some to put in my girls’ Valentines gifts soon.

Pretty and affordable dishes

These hobnail plates are only two dollars each- these dishes are so simple and pretty, and you could really dress up your table with them. I’m actually thinking of purchasing some myself.

There are also these pretty green “pottery-like” plates. You could really accessorize these with pretty napkins and tablecloths.

Glass bow trinket dish

My girls are very into the bow trend and this dish matches their pink bathroom perfectly. I am going to buy one of these for them.

Tea towels

There are so many pretty tablecloths, tea towels and napkins at DG. This lemon and peach one could be used as a cloth napkin and it would look amazing with the green dishes.

Table top bow picture frame

This one isnt available in stores, but it is still adorable and would look great in your home or office.
