A little life update, and a new direction

A life update

It’s really been a minute since I wrote here. We had a fantastic, but busy summer, and this has been our busiest school year yet. My oldest started high school and my youngest started fourth grade.

My girls continue to be busy with dance, but my oldest has added high school sports into the mix, which is way more involved than middle school activities. It’s been fun watching them uncover new things they want to try.

A new direction

If you follow me on social media, you may have seen some things change already. I’ve been trying to decide what I want to accomplish with this blog. The blogosphere has changed a lot since I initially began this site, and while I do still definitely enjoy home design and cooking, I also have other areas I’d like to explore.

With that being said, this is what I’m moving toward in the near future: a home and family blog about home design, cooking, and homemaking ; and an accompanying podcast as a companion to the blog and social media.

What kinds of content would you like to see?

I’m Angi. Let’s be friends!

Welcome to Lumber in my Minivan, a blog about adventures, (and sometimes MISadventures), in parenting, DIY, and home life. I’m a Christian, a wife, a mother of two daughters, a teacher, a southerner, an amateur farmer and woodworker, a coffee lover, and an animal lover. Life without music is pointless and outside is my favorite place to be. I’m so glad you stopped by- pour yourself a large cup of coffee, put your feet up, and stay awhile!

I’d love to connect with you!
