Sunday Smiles

Happy Sunday to you!

We have had an incredibly busy week, but a wonderful one. This weekend has been incredibly busy as well.

For starters, our school has a huge anniversary celebration and carnival every October. There are carnival games, food, fireworks and dances. This week, our youngest went to her first school dance and our oldest attended her last Knights Family Weekend dance. Next year she will be in high school, and then it will be homecoming dance time.

Then, yesterday, our kids had practice for their dance team. We finished up at dance mid-afternoon and went to get family pictures made. There is an 1880’s homestead in the park where we took our photos and I was enjoying looking in the windows.

On Sunday, we went to a dance convention with the girls team and had a lot of fun together. Our girls danced hard- they were so tired when we left.

I hope all of you have an amazing week! Here’s a little sneak peak of what’s coming up this week:

  1. Money-saving Monday: How to thrift shop like a pro!
  2. Housework Wednesday: garage organization
  3. Weekend hikes: Cedarock Park, Graham, NC

I’m Angi. Let’s be friends!

Welcome to Lumber in my Minivan, a blog about adventures, (and sometimes MISadventures), in parenting, DIY, and home life. I’m a Christian, a wife, a mother of two daughters, a teacher, a southerner, an amateur farmer and woodworker, a coffee lover, and an animal lover. Life without music is pointless and outside is my favorite place to be. I’m so glad you stopped by- pour yourself a large cup of coffee, put your feet up, and stay awhile!

I’d love to connect with you!
