These are a few of my favorite things!

I hope you are all doing well, and finding some rest and relaxation this holiday season. I know you are knee deep in Christmas cards, wrapping gifts, and spending time with your families, but I wanted to check in with you all, our online family- it’s been a minute since I did a “Five Friday Favorites” OR a “Life as a Lumber” post, so I thought I’d combine the two.

We were late getting our Christmas cards out this year- we had a photo shoot scheduled and everything, but then our oldest tested postiive for the flu. Instead, I made our Christmas cards with some of my favorite memories from this year. I have to say I love how they turned out.

This year, I got so busy I didn’t have time to do my nails, so I developed a fondness for press-on nails. Right now, I am positively loving these Christmas press-on nails from Amazon. (WARNING: Don’t wear them longer than a week or they WILL discolor your nails).

I mentioned earlier how two members of our fabulous foursome have been under the weather. The two Lumber kitties have been extra cuddly- Daisy even offered up her bedmaking services!

We have been very blessed this year, and we can’t wait to see what 2024 holds- this week, we will be sharing the following posts with you: 1. our annual “year in review” post

2. some New Years related goodness, AND

3. our word of the year for 2024.

May the Lord bless you and your families this Christmas season! Merry Christmas from us at Lumber in my Minivan!

I’m Angi. Let’s be friends!

Welcome to Lumber in my Minivan, a blog about adventures, (and sometimes MISadventures), in parenting, DIY, and home life. I’m a Christian, a wife, a mother of two daughters, a teacher, a southerner, an amateur farmer and woodworker, a coffee lover, and an animal lover. Life without music is pointless and outside is my favorite place to be. I’m so glad you stopped by- pour yourself a large cup of coffee, put your feet up, and stay awhile!

I’d love to connect with you!
