My family almost always uses an advent wreath, but we have never gotten an advent calendar. This year, we have chosen to start a new tradition and get an advent calendar to enjoy. I am going to share some of my favorites from around the WWW today.
1. Amazon: Mermaid advent calendar

My youngest daughter recently celebrated her birthday, and we gave her an Amazon gift card to purchase what she wanted. She chose this mermaid advent calendar for one of her gifts. You get 29 different mermaid related toys and jewelry items in the calendar.
2. Five Below: Disney advent calendar with chocolates

Five Below has all kinds of advent calendars to enjoy, and they’re super cheap. This Mickey Mouse advent calendar is filled with milk chocolates and it only costs $1.25. You can buy one for each member of the family for that price.
3. Aldi: cheese advent calendar

Aldi has a huge assortment of different advent calendars. If you don’t like chocolate, Aldi has a coffee advent calendar, a Lego advent calendar, a candle advent calendar, and even a puzzle advent calendar. There truly is something for everyone.
4. Nail polish advent calendar

Are you the parent of a tween? I bet they’ll love this Claire’s 24 days of nails advent calendar.
5. Use this advent calendar every year

This is the more expensive option, but since you reuse it every year and you can put whatever you’d like in it, it’s worth it. I’d put tiny candies in each drawer for each member of the family.
Do you use an advent calendar? Do you buy it, make one, or reuse one each year?
