Make it Monday: a cheap “bird gallery wall” that looks expensive

A few years ago, I discovered this ornate gold frame in a local discount store. The frame is cheap plastic, but from a distance, it looks like it’s much more high-end. I held on to it for a little bit, until I decided to print off this pretty bird from a public domain site.

Bird and floral gallery walls are very much in style right now- in fact, they’re kind of timeless.

Consider this bird gallery wall from Bless’er House:

Or maybe this one from Thrifty Decor Chick:

Or maybe this cute and colorful bird gallery wall from Love the Print:

I wasn’t able to find the exact gold frame I have, but I did find these at Michael’s (left) and a six pack of gold frames on Amazon. Both are very cost effective options.

There are a number of free places online to download free Audubon prints of birds; you just cannot use them for commercial use. I downloaded our bird print here from The Graphics Fairy. She has lots of great bird graphics you can use.

You can also find a good assortment of bird prints if you do a Google image search of “vintage bird pictures,” or “vintage bird prints.”

If anyone makes a bird gallery wall, I would love it if you’d send me a pic! Have a wonderful week.
