Our Christmas mantle is simple and contains some of my favorite Christmas decorations in our home. Before we talk about the mantle decor, let’s talk about the mantle. We purchased an antique mantle from some friends at our former church. We wanted to make it look like a real fireplace and make a blank, boring wall more interesting. My husband and I built a hearth and a firebox onto the antique mantle. We love it and we are glad we did it.
We purchased this heater insert recently as an early Christmas present to ourselves. It blows out some great heat and it looks beautiful. It also makes the room seem so cozy.
